Linday Wilson

WILSON, Linday Margaret, B.A. (Honours), Child and Family Studies(Posthumous) The family of the late Lindsay Margaret Wilson is proud to announce her achievement of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Child and Family Studies from Nipissing University (Muskoka Campus). Lindsay had completed requirements and earned her degree before her murder in Bracebridge, Ontario on April 5, 2013. It was proudly accepted on her behalf at Convocation in North Bay on Friday, June 14, 2013 by her mother, Alison Irons, with family and friends present. Lindsay was also a graduate of St. Lawrence College's Developmental Services Worker (DSW) two-year diploma programme, a dedicated employee of Community Living Kingston, and had hoped to enter the University of Windsor's Master of Social Work programme this fall. She had overcome many challenges in her life, which meant she had to work harder at her studies than many to achieve both a diploma and a degree. Lindsay, we are so very proud of you. Although you deserved to walk across the stage yourself to receive your degree, your achievements can never be taken from you. Love you forever, Mum, Dad, Andrew, Nanny and Grandpa, Grandad, Greg, and all of your family and friends.12468521
