VERONICA Cox is retiring at the end of this month after 33 years of service as a teacher for the Peel District School Board, Missisauga, Ontario. Veronica is the daughter of Larry and Bartha Adshead. The Peel District School Board wrote to Veronica as follows: "On behalf of the Educational Week Committee, we wish to congratulate you on being selected to receive an Award of Distinction for your unique and exemplary contributions to public education in Peel and to the Peel Community." "Education Week is an ideal opportunity to take a moment to celebrate the people who make a difference and who truly make this school system a great place to work and learn. We hope you take the time to enjoy this well-deserved recognition." "There is no higher honour than to be recognized by your colleagues and peers and we join them in congratulating you on your accomplishments and achievements." Veronica's parents are very proud of their daughter. She always wanted to be a teacher and she was successful in reaching that goal.10240237
