(Brilliant- Absolutely brilliant idea)... The Melfort Mustangs who bought us supper one evening! Thank you for all the beautiful flowers which helped to decorate the church and brighten our homes the days following the funeral. Thank you also for the lovely cards, gifts and kind words of condolence. To those of you who donated to the North East SPCA, a special thank you. Thank you to Melody Motors for the large van so we could travel to our Husbands' and Fathers'/Grandfathers' Funeral together. The shock of losing Ron sent us all reeling but with the help of all of you; we held together! To the ones who travelled great distances; Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Estevan, La Ronge, Buchanan, Kelvington, Humboldt - we are so we are to all of you who supported us in our good-byes at the Church and at the Hall during our fellowship together after the Service! Doug and Myra and Staff -- you wrote the book on 'Perfection'! Every detail was looked after with caring, professionalism and efficiency! You made our tasks so much easier! A special thank you to Pastor Gilkinson; you were indeed a blessing to all of us! You said to us on the day of Ron's funeral --- "This is the hard part," but you helped to make it easier in every way! Every word was helpful --- The Man upstairs sent you to help us work through our pain! The Silver Park Ladies organized, prepared and served a delicious lunch which was enjoyed and appreciated by all, especially the family and those who had to travel home that afternoon. Thank you to everyone --- all 250 of you; who signed the guest-book at the Church!!! Thank you!!! How blessed we are to be surrounded by such love and caring! The generous donations for the North East S.P.C.A. will be passed on to them immediately! Ron didn't view pets as such; they were individuals, each with their own special personalities.
