Pauline Amy (nee Price) Sinton

SINTON, Pauline Amy (nee Price) - March 30, 1934 - Crossfield, Alberta September 23, 2017 Calgary, Alberta Pauline Amy Sinton beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday September 23, 2017. Pauline was born on the Price family farm outside of Crossfield, Alberta, to Allan and Amy Price (Shapley). She enjoyed growing up on the farm with her brothers. Pauline attended University of Calgary and became a teacher. She married Don in 1957. They travelled the world with their children, living in several countries. Don, Pauline and their five children settled on the Sinton family homestead near Airdrie in 1975. Pauline was very active for more than twenty years, in the Crossfield Royal Purple. She enjoyed gardening, travel, family camping, boating and swimming. Family gatherings were one of her greatest joys. Pauline was intensely devoted to her children, grandchildren, and friends. Loving and kind in all her ways, Pauline has left a legacy of beautiful memories, to be cherished. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Wayne Price (Bernice), her children and grandchildren; Allan Sinton and his wife Marie, their children Curtis (Danelle), Amy (Tyler), Beth Hessdorfer and her husband Gerald and their children Louis, Ian, Jason (Elizabeth), Gail, Diana (Cory), Lorna Ratchford her husband James and their children Melissa, Heather (Kris) great grandchildren Marius, Lysander, Donna Connell and her husband Jeremy and their children Shawn, Iain, Doreen Bayer her husband Bernie and their children Connor, Ryan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Pauline is predeceased by her parents Edgar Allan and Amy Price(Shapley); her husband of forty three years Donald Sinton, her brother Lynn Price (Doris), her brother Stan Price (Florence). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, October 1, at P.M. with the reception to follow.
