Remembering a wonderful friend of our family
Posted by Peggy Tjitske Ytsma Hayden (Daughter of Alle and Antje Ytsma) On Friday, December 29, 2017
My condolences to Hepke and Jitske’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Hepke was a lifelong friend of my mother and father Alle and Antje Ytsma. They experienced so much together...second world war, Friesian Resistance Group, immigration to Canada.

I know that my parents valued this friendship greatly.

Remembering all the good times I spent with your family....Peggy Hayden

He was the last of the 25 heroes who liberated 51 people from the prison of Leeuwarden on December 8 1944. Lest we forget!
