Margaret (Marguerite) Joyce Loos (Knapman)

LOOS (Knapman), Margaret (Marguerite) Joyce - On Sunday, March 11, 2018, Margaret peacefully passed and joined her husband, William (Bill) Loos (2008). Born in Hamilton on November 18, 1928 to George and Margaret Knapman, Marg grew up with her three sisters, Mary Cartwright, Judy Stones (1996) and Joanne Lambert. Margaret was Mom to Sharon Armstrong (1951), Karon Firmani (Lou), Dawn Durham (2012), George Armstrong (Eva) and Robin Anderson (Jim). Grandma to Becky Durham, Stephanie Haak (Rob), Anthony Firmani (Lisbeth), Natalie Buragina and Nicole Anderson (Greg) and Great-Grandma to Karly, Jillian, Vivienne, Luca, Chali, Maude and Elliot. For over 20 years, Margaret worked at Livingston Industries in Hagersville and in retirement embraced the opportunity to enjoy her freedom. Margaret was an avid reader, card player, Pathfinder leader, and member of the Trefoil Guild. Above all things, she loved her dogs “Bailey and Miss Daisy”, travelling and kept herself entertained making crafts, baking, camping and visiting the casino. Special thanks to the amazing staff at Caressant Care on Mary Bucke, St. Thomas. The loving and thoughtful care that Margaret received is the reason that she really loved all “Her Girls”. Please join us in a Celebration of life on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Hungarian Hall in Delhi. Visitation from 1:00-4:00 p.m. A Celebration service will be held at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Delhi Imperial Place Community Health Centre or any other charity of your choice will be appreciated. All donations can be made online at CanadaHelps.org. WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME , 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas entrusted with the arrangements.13261878
