METSON, Karen (nee Nadon) - In Loving Memory of Karen Metson (nee Nadon), 66 Years. It is with heavy hearts we announce Karenís passing at Health Sciences North on Sunday December 2, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Loved and adored wife of Willy Metson for over 47 years. Precious and unforgettable mother of Chris Metson (Chantale) of Milton, Ontario and Ryan Metson (Jennie) of Sudbury. Beloved and darling grandmother of Mackenzie, Carter and Emma, and her canine companion Maggie. Loving and devoted daughter of Roland and Gertrude Nadon (both predeceased). Special sister of Richard (predeceased), Mike Nadon (Carolyn) and Sharon (Doug Crawford). Karen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We will remember our mom for the unconditional love and devotion she had for all of us, and how important it was for her to tell us this every day. We will also take comfort in remembering the passion and pride she brought to things that were important to her. Karen worked for over 30 years at Extendicare York, where her compassion and love for people helped her build lifelong friendships and provide exceptional care to her patients. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the 5th Floor South Tower nursing staff at HSN and the Cancer Center for all of their care and compassion during this difficult time, and to Cheryl and Tessa from CCAC and Bayshore for their amazing in home care. In respect for Karenís wishes, the family will host a private family service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the SPCA or the Cancer Centre in Karenís memory would be greatly appreciated. ďRest easy, Mom....We love you and will miss you forever....Ē (Arrangements entrusted to the SUDBURY PARK LAWN CREMATION SERVICE )13314984

Our sincerest condolences to our dear neighbour Willy & his Family. Karen was always so friendly, stopped to talk & would share her beautiful warm smile when we passed each other in the neighbourhood. Although Karen's presence will be greatly missed, her spiritual presence will always remain with those she loved and whom loved her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her dearly beloved husband Willy, her family & friends.
