Hendrika (Anne) Reuvers

REUVERS, Hendrika (Anne) - After a courageous battle with cancer, Hendrika (Anne) Reuvers passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Reuvers for 42 years. Dear mother of Sandra Kelderman (Rick) of Napanee, John Reuvers (Cindy) of Westport, Gerald Reuvers (Lorraine) of Portland and Steven Reuvers (Lucie) of Lorette Manitoba. She will be greatly missed and forever known as “Grandma R” by her grandchildren, Kristen, Lyndsay, Calvin Hayley and Kelsey; Casie and Rebecca; Allyssa, Keisha, Jordan and Dominic; and her great grandson Sawyer. Dear sister of Jean (Wiebe) Bylsma; Joan (Dave) MacKenzie; Harry (Catherine) Bierman; John (Wendi) Bierman; Rita (Peter) Beerda; Gary (Helen) Bierman. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews as well as by her church family at Westside Fellowship and second family at the Mission Thrift Store where she developed many lasting friendships. The family would like to send a special thank you to all staff at Providence Care Hospital, Palliative Care Ward for the tremendous care and compassion that they showed to our mother (grandmother) in her final days. There will be a visitation held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME on Sunday February 10, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be at the Westside Fellowship Christian Reformed Church on Monday February 11, 2019 at 11am with interment at Cataraqui Cemetery to follow. In memoriams to UHKF (Providence Care Hospital, Palliative Care) or Mission Thrift Store would be greatly appreciated.13325129

Prayers for all of Anne's family and please know that she will be fondly remembered by all of us at Special Meals where she was one of my volunteers. We will miss her but are happy that she has been promoted to Glory. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
