I was sorry to hear the news. Verdun's paintings still hang in my parents' home and they capture a slice of my childhood at our cottage on Opinicon Lake. He was a very talented and kind man and I remember my mother having coffee in the mornings with Maureen. I am grateful for his paintings on the wall as he has preserved such happy memories. I send my most sincere condolences.
