Laurie Beaudoin

BEAUDOIN, Laurie - 1965 - 2019 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful Laurie Beaudoin with friends and family by her side at the Timmins and District Hospital on March12th, 2019, at the age of 53. Awaiting her with open arms are her cherished son Connor Stevenson, her mother Joan Beaudoin and her brother Randy Beaudoin. Left behind to mourn are her father Gerry Beaudoin, her niece Courtney and great-nieces and nephew Ari, Zoe and Timothy and extended family, the love of her life Scott Stevenson, her aunt Annette and uncle Marc Côté, her cousins, her dear childhood friend Kim Beamish (Ken), her supportive neighbors Lea (Alain) and Alice, her many wonderful friends, as well as Connor’s friends in Ottawa, and her cats, Angel and Spot. We are so grateful for her amazing caregivers Joanne Fink and Darryl Watson and her precious friends Alison Kirkpatrick, Carla Mascioli, Lisa Fragassi, Shannon Farnel, Kim Farr and Wendy Ellingsworth. Also, a sincere thank you to the Community Palliative Care Team: Dr. Karen Armstrong, Marnie Chisholm, and Ariane Flamain for their attentive care. Special thanks to the very special nurses and Dr. Lynn Schwertfeger in the Palliative Care Unit, along with her PSWs, Priscilla and Angèle, for their compassion and support. Laurie’s greatest pride and joy was Connor and, like him, she had a magical way of brightening everyone’s day with her warm, wonderful and one of a kind personality! We will forever remember her beautiful blue eyes, contagious smile and unique laugh in our hearts. In lieu of flowers or donations, everyone who has known our «Supahstar» Laurie is asked to commemorate her by being kind to everyone and generous to the less fortunate as she always was. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date which will be shared once details are finalized. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME 705-268-4488 . Online condolences can be made at www.lessardstephens.com13330179
