John Wayne Fletcher

FLETCHER, John Wayne - It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Wayne Fletcher on March 16 while vacationing in Florida at age 72. John was born and grew up a proud river rat in the 1000 Islands, like his father. He was an avid reader of history and a gifted artist. He was also the original foodie, living for the next hole in the wall discovery and his subsequent TripAdvisor review. John is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Bonnie, his son James (Elizabeth), his adoring granddaughter Reagan, brother Bill (Pam) and his loyal grand dog Henry (aka Hank the River Dog). He is predeceased by his parents Irene and Stan, and son David. He will be lovingly remembered and profoundly missed.13331285

Bonnie. Sorry for your loss. John was a good friend back in my high school days. Have fond memories of our times on the river, euchre games after school and parties at his parents house. Sad to lose old friends such as Peter, Mike and now John in a short time. Live life to the fullest.
