Thérèsa Pilon Doré

DORÉ, Thérèsa Pilon - 1928 - 2019 It is with sorrow yet a deep sense of peace that we announce the passing of Thérèse Pilon Doré at the Golden Manor on April 4, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born on October 7, 1928 in Cobalt and raised in Timmins. Theresa is predeceased by her loving husband Gaston Pilon (1978) and by John Doré, her loving second husband (1999). Devoted mother to Diane Moroz (Gary 2016) of Timmins, Robert Pilon (Carole) of Ennismore, Norman Pilon (Lise) of Timmins and Lorraine Durepos (Mario) of Timmins. She is survived by 8 wonderful grandchildren, Shelly Hossman (Mathew) of Timmins, Kimberly Maxwell (Jason) of Bowmanville, Josée Durepos of Timmins, Richard Pilon of Timmins, Trevor (Quinn) Pilon of Amerstview, Chad Durepos (Lisa) of Shannonville, Marc Durepos (Francine) of Timmins, Brett Pilon of Peterborough, as well as 16 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers Bernard Charbonneau (Beatrice) of St. Eustache, Denis Charbonneau (Judy) of Hwy Beach, her loving sisters-in-law Thérèse Charbonneau of Ottawa, Lillianne Martin of Timmins, Estelle McLaughlin of Guelph and June Charbonneau of Mississauga. At Heaven’s Gate she will be met by Gaston, John and Gary, her parents Alex and Marie Rose Charbonneau, her sister Cécile Perrier Venne, her brothers Lucien, Fidèle (Ted) and Gerard Charbonneau, her sister-in-law Jeanne Charbonneau and brother-in-law Laurie McLaughlin. Theresa worked for years in the retail industry; Buckovetsky’s, Lorraine’s Bridal Salon, Sears and Shopper’s Drug Mart. We would like to thank the Chateau Georgian Residence where she was a resident for 6 years and truly enjoyed her home there, and for their compassion and dedication to Mom while she was ill. As well, we would like to thank the Golden Manor for their excellent care and compassion to our Mom, during her short stay. We would also like to extend our Thank you and greatest appreciation to Dr. Rachel Maisonneuve, her family doctor and to Debbie Cooper NP for their expertise and compassion in caring for our mother during her last days. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME 705-268-4488. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. Gary & I send our deepest sympathy to all the family members your Mom love life & she truly enjoyed every minute of her life I remember her when she worked with our Mom at Lorraine’s Bridal store we just lost our Mom in September so I think they are altering someone’s bridal gown up there together
