Raoul "Rolly" Demers

Demers, Raoul "Rolly" - June 5, 1947 - May 6, 2019 It is with heavy hearts that our family announces that Pa "Rolly" peacefully passed at the N.B.R.H.C. He will forever be missed by his 2 daughters, Danielle Bayers (Mark), of Nova Scotia & Veronique St.-Amour (Simon) of Trenton. By his "tech savvy" niece Tanya and his nephew Shane whom he loved like a son. As well as his 3 beautiful grand daughters Jaime, Brooke & EmJay. He is survived by his youngest brother Arthur, and was predeceased by his eldest brother Danny. Working with the Near North District School Board for nearly 40 years; it seemed he couldn't go anywhere without seeing someone who knew him. His daughters often joked that Pa knew everyone and everyone knew him. Either in a boat, a camper, an ice shack, a hunting camp or on his ATV or simply driving around in his truck; all that knew him would agree that being outdoors brought Rolly much happiness. He will always be remembered for his practical jokes, his passion for carpentry, sharing stories, but most of all his kind and generous spirit. A celebration of life will be held at the 406 Squadron R.C.A.F. Alliance, located at 406 First Ave, on Friday May 10th between 4-7 pm. Rolly's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the N.B.R.H.C. who helped with Rolly's care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 406 Squadron R.C.A.F. Alliance as Rolly had been an active member for 13 years, and their support during this difficult time has truly been a blessing.13336048

I will miss your after retirement visits to the Maintenance Shop to see me still plugging away. I will always remember your sense of humour and the sound of your laugh.
