LAYE, Clifford Russell - Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on July 5, 2012, Cliff Laye of London passed away in his 82nd year surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 52 years to Jean Laye. Loving father of Kim Sanderson and Kevin Laye (Jenny). Proud grandpa of Cameron, Stephanie, Sienna, Callum and Brooke. Predeceased by his parents William and Emma Laye, brothers John, Bob, Wilfrid, Jim and sister Mary. Survived by his sister Dorothy Ashman and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Cliff proudly served with the London Police Force as a Detective for many years until his retirement. Friends and family will be received at MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road East (east of Highbury), London, on Sunday July 8th from 2 P.M. - 5 P.M, Private family interment in Siloam Cemetery, London. A celebration of his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday July 9th at 1 P.M.
