Noelle Marie Paquette

PAQUETTE, Noelle Marie - Born on December 11, 1985, and was tragically taken from this world on January 1, 2013, at the age of 27. Noelle is the loving daughter of Roger and Lynn Paquette; sister of Jocelyne Paquette (Paul Dow), Shauna Southcott (Jeff), Nicole Knowles (Andrew), and Joseph Paquette; and granddaughter of Laura Paquette and Donna Kongus, predeceased by grandfathers Isidore Paquette and Alex Kongus; niece of Stephanie and Doug Young, Marcel and Nicole Paquette and Lise Paquette; cousin of Jacob and Kayla Young and Martin and Marc Paquette; and aunt of Alex, Bailey, Cole, Traynor and Ben. As well as teaching, Noelle worked at Community Living and volunteered her time with the Sunshine Foundation. Noelle enjoyed playing soccer and attending classes at Goodlife Fitness. Noelle had a smile that lit up every room she entered. She loved life, her family, her friends and was loved by all who knew her. Noelle had too many special friends to mention, although you all know who you are. For those who were lucky enough to have known Noelle, there will be a special place in your hearts for her forever. Noelle, you will be sadly missed. Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 7, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 1920 Wildwood Dr., Bright's Grove. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Bright's Grove. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sunshine Foundation or Community Living Sarnia-Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to SMITH FUNERAL HOME , 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Memories and condolences may be sent online at Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as though heaven is on earth…Noelle certainly did. 12198508

Dear Roger, Lynn and Family,I cannot express my sympathy & empathy enough at this time!I cannot thank you enough for putting it to the media and teaching this country how to make this about the victim and not the accused. Noelle had Great Role Models to learn from and went on to teach what she had learned. You are very brave & through your actions,I think you have changed the way media will present these tragedies to the public.I hold you, your family and most of all Noelle in highest regard. Sue

I wanted to send my condolences to the Pacquette family. I was saddened to learn of this tragic loss, and then ever more so, when I thought back to the fact, that I worked with her brother Joe, at the SSEC. I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to the him as well. Be strong my young friend. there is much support out there for you and your family. I can't imagine your pain, but I will share your sorrow. I wish you in the future peace in your own hearts.
