Raffaele (Ralph) Matarazzo

MATARAZZO, Raffaele (Ralph) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raffaele (Ralph) Matarazzo, 49 years of age, on Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Mary’s General Hospital (Kitchener, ON). Raffaele was born and raised in Sudbury before settling in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area. He was the beloved father of Anthony and Alysha.  Cherished son of Pasquale and Concetta Matarazzo of Sudbury, ON.  Dear brother of Anthony Matarazzo (Lorrie) of Sudbury, ON, and Daiana Lecos (Dennis) of Etobicoke, ON. Special uncle to Isabella, Alexandra, Alessia and Eliana. Beloved grandfather of Landon.  Ralph was a construction engineer and a true granite master. He loved cooking and fishing in the North and will be forever remembered for the most generous of hearts and a passion to help those in need. Raffaele's life will be celebrated at 5 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the HENRY WALSER FUNERAL HOME , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467 followed by a reception. A celebration of life will take place, at a later date, in Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Salvation Army (Sudbury New Life Centre) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.13320618

Thinking of your family through these difficult family grew up across the street and have alot of great memories and stories from many years ago. He will no doubt be missed but never forgotten!
