Georgina Lucy (nee MacKay) Langille

LANGILLE, Georgina Lucy (nee MacKay) - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Georgina, peacefully, at Providence Manor on Monday January 14, 2019 at age 83. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Chester Martin Langille. Beloved mother of Leisa McDonald (Brian) and Ginny Langille (Jamie Slack). Cherished grandmother of Breeanna and Kaitlin McDonald. She is survived by her brother Russell MacKay and her sister Pauline Jollymore (Dale). She will be sadly missed from coast to coast by her many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own children and by her extended family. The family will receive friends at the ROBERT J. REID & SONS FUNERAL HOME 209 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street) on Sunday between the hours of 1-4 p.m. The Funeral in Celebration of her life will be held in “The Chapel on the Corner” on Monday at 11 a.m. Pastor Cathleen Getchell officiating. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations, for those wishing, may be made to Canadian Lung Association. Online Book of Condolences www.ReidFuneralHome.com13321487

Lias and Jenny,I am so sorry to hear this sad news about you Mom,I just found out yesterday ,march 28th.We grew uo together in Balmoral Mills N.S,We worked together at P AND G.,Many time on our trips to N.S from Hmilton we would drop in for a visit,I loved her and will miss her,

Georgina was a co-worker of mine at Nortel. She was such a nice and gentle person. Everyone loved to work with her. Such a class lady.

She is in my thoughts and prayers.

She is finally back with Chester .

I was deeply saddened when I heard from family. I will always remember Georgina. She did treat me like her own. My thoughts and prayers to the family. God bless.

It was a blessing in my life to know Georgina. Met her at Polson Park Church. She showed love and care to me and so many others, including my mom who she visited at her home then a nursing home. My mom loved those visits.
