Stephen Thomas Darlington

DARLINGTON, Stephen Thomas - On February 3rd, in his 60th year, Steve died peacefully in his sleep following a brief battle with cancer surrounded by the love of his family at the Providence Care Hospital. Son of the late Bill & Theresa Darlington, Steve will be greatly missed by his brothers Dave (Lori), Kevin (Marilyn) and sisters Brenda (Howard) and Mary and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Steve was an artist, a HUGE Toronto Maple Leafs fan and Rush’s biggest fan! A special thank-you to his doctors and all of his incredible nurses at Providence Care Hospital along with the staff and Steve’s co-workers at Queen’s University. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday March 3rd at the Portuguese Cultural Centre 959 Division Street, Kingston 12-4 pm. In lieu of flowers Steve’s wishes were to make cheques payable to KCVI Guitar Building Program . Donations can be mailed to KCVI Guitar Building Program, 235 Frontenac St, Kingston, Ontario K7L 3S7 or dropped off at KCVI. 13325308

My condolences to the family. I only learned today of Steve's passing. He came in to see me at work in December to tell me of his illness. He was a lovely man whom I enjoyed conversing with. He is missed.

So sad to hear of Steve passing he was a gentle soul and had such a Kind heart. I was always in awe of his amazing art work I was privileged to have him share with me,on a few occasions.Mark and will miss you my friend .Condolences go out to all his family.You have truly lost a gem.

I spent a lot of my summers up in Kingston and at the farm in cormac...and will always remember the fun and laughs that you brought to me and also our family...such a sadness in my heart...I know that you are safe and at peace now with your mom and dad and many other family members up in heaven...so until we meet again!??????????love your cousin colleen xo
