Jacob Bulten

BULTEN, Jacob - Peacefully at H.J. McFarland Home, Picton on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 in his 86th year. Son of the late Hendrik and Everdina Bulten. Beloved husband of the late Hendrikje “Hennie” Bulten. Loving step-father of Evelyn (Gerald) Allison of Big Island, Rita (Lawrence) Valleau of Picton, Bill (Darlene) Bulten of Belleville, Barb (Henry) Huiskamp of Bloomfield and Jake (Astrid) Bulten also of Bloomfield. Jacob will be missed by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Jacob is survived by his sister, Rieke Talsma. He is predeceased by his sister, Tina Canniff and his brother Everd Bulten. Jacob will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at the STEELE FUNERAL HOME , Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273) on Sunday, March 3rd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Maranatha Church on Monday, March 4th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Spring Interment will take place at Mount Nebo Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.13328383

I am sorry to hear about Jake. I remember him as a very nice man at Maranatha. The Lord has welcomed him home, that is the most important welcome you can get. I am sure his memories will live on for many years.

On behalf of myself and family we extend sincere condolences to the Bulten family. He was a great friend of my mom and dad.(John and Tina Keuning) since March 1952 when we arrived in Springbrook, actully he taught my dad to drive.
