Dennis Robert Leakey

LEAKEY, Dennis Robert - Passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer at Providence Care Hospital on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the age of 49. He spent his final days surrounded by his loved ones. Dennis will be deeply missed by his loving parents Robert and Claudette Leakey of Kingston. Cherished brother of Suzanne Leakey of New Hamburg and Christine Leakey of Hamilton. He will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles Huguette and Richard Babcock, Sharon Leakey, Mary Desmarais and Bunny Hollingsworth. Dennis will be missed by his special friends Jamie Cassell, Rob McLellan, and Dimitra, Mike and Alice Martyn. Fondly remembered by his great aunts, great uncles, many cousins and his numerous friends. He is predeceased by his uncles John and Paul Desmarais. Visitation will be held at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - KINGSTON CHAPEL on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Liturgy of The Word will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2019. Memorial donations made in Dennis' memory to UHKF - Medullary Thyroid Cancer would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences at
