Daryl Nielsen

NIELSEN, Daryl - In Loving Memory 1958 - 2019 Daryl passed away peacefully at the Timmins and District Hospital on March, 12th, 2019 while surrounded by family. Loving big brother of Murray (Sharon) and Kevin (Mary-Ann). Daryl was predeceased by his supportive and proud parents Scotty and Jeannine. He is survived by his niece Amanda (Chris) St. Germain and his nephew Douglass Nielsen and his great niece, Aria St. Germain. Predeceased by his grandparents Jens & Eva Nielsen and uncles, Ole Nielsen and Gary Thom. Daryl achieved many accomplishments in life such as competing in the Special Olympics; however he was most proud of the wonderful family he had. He adored being a big brother, an uncle and a son to the parents he was blessed with. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Faye Crescent staff. Words cannot express how grateful we feel that Daryl had you all in his life. Some people were put on this earth to enhance the wellbeing of other people’s lives and you all exceeded that. There are no words to describe how appreciative we are. We would also like to thank Dr. Maisonneuve for all of the care, compassion and professionalism given throughout the years. Donations to the Timmins Special Olympics will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. A Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., followed by A Celebration of Life at 4:00pm on Saturday March 16th, 2019 at STINSON FUNERAL HOME, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, (705)235-2900 www.stinsonfuneralhome.net13330379
