Anne “Annie” (née Heas) Bellemare

BELLEMARE, Anne “Annie” (née Heas) - In Loving Memory November 29th, 1958 - March 8th, 2019 Annie passed away peacefully, on Friday, March 8, 2019 surrounded by family. Loving wife of Yvon Bellemare. Devoted mother to Mary-Kathleen (Patrice), Terence (Robyn), Eileen (David) and Louisa (Jason). Cherished daughter of Margaret and the late Michael Heas. Exceptional sister to Kevin, Michael and the late Terence. Will be sadly missed by many brother & sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. She leaves behind relatives in Ireland, as well as her vast circle of friends, many of whom she considered family. Predeceased by her father Michael Heas, brother Terence, and father and mother-in-law Wilfred and Simone Bellemare. A special thanks to the staff at Timmins and District Hospital and for Doctor Vaithilingam’s devoted care and attention. To encapsulate Annie Bellemare in a paragraph or two is beyond difficult. Annie was many things to many people. A wife and mother first, Annie took immense pride in her four children and loved her husband Yvon as deeply as one person can love another. Annie was truly a selfless person who gave of herself to others as a way of life. The door was always open for a warm shoulder, hot meal, and some John Prine. Annie had the gift of making a person feel valued and capable of anything they put their efforts into. She truly saw potential in anyone she met, and wanted that person to see it as well. As quick as Annie was to share her love with family and friends, she was to give back to the less fortunate in the community that she loved so dearly, without the belief of receiving anything in return, or the need to be recognized. Rest in love Annie. We got this! In honour of Annie’s Irish heritage, a celebration of life will be taking place on Saint Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17th, 2019 from 1:00-5:00pm at the South Porcupine Legion Branch#287. We ask that in lieu of flowers or a donation, that you honour and remember Annie in her way. Give as much as you can, love hard, hug your children, cuddle your partner, read the Toronto Star and catch an episode of Coronation Street. Sing loud and proud, dance like no one is watching and always remember that tomorrow is another day. Arrangements entrusted to STINSON FUNERAL HOME , 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, (705) 235-2900 www.stinsonfuneralhome.net13330380
