Dear Jackson Family: I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Ed. My Husband John worked with Ed for many years at Imperial Optical. John and I attended many dances and functions with Ed and Luella along with the Rutherfords. Ed and Lue were such a fun, kind wonderful couple.. so in love...Take Care Denise Cowan

Such fond memories from living on the flats to delivering the Whig to his door, to the perfect eye-wear fit and numerous chance meetings along the way, Ed could light-up a room with his smile and laughter, last seen at the back of St. Paul's. I don't recall a chat after Lu passed that didn't include her. May they meet again and his family find strength in a full-life lived and loved. Regrettably I'm not available to meet with you but share in your sorrow.

What to say about Ed. So many wonderful memories, from the early days babysitting Ed & Lu's children to him recommending me for my first job out of high school at Imperial Optical. We worked together for 9 years and had a lot of good times. Mike and I would drop by when we were going through "the mills" to catch up and remember with him. To Gary, Gail, Jill and their families our sincere condolences. He will be greatly missed.
