Jeannine Lanoix

LANOIX, Jeannine - Mrs. Jeannine Lanoix (born Ethier), passed away while surrounded by the love of her family at Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst on March 29, 2019 at the age of 69. She is survived by her loving husband Lucien and her children: Martin (Line), Mylène (Stéphane) and Yvan (Cathy) all from Hearst. She also leaves behind her grand-children whom she adored: Amy, Karéanne, Jessica, Simon, Marie-Pier and Renéanne as well as 6 brothers: Laurier (Aline) from Timmins, Robert (Janine) from Timmins, Roger (Diane) from Timmins, Maurice from Timmins, Marcel from Ottawa and Luc (Hélène) from Ottawa. Jeannine was predeceased by her granddaughter Joanie and her sister Rita. Jeannine was a devoted, generous and considerate wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she had a special nickname for each and everyone of them. She was a woman with a charming personality who had a huge heart who was never afraid to help her family, her friends or anyone who came to her for help. She would always listen without judgement. Her concern for others is without a doubt the reason why she joined the Red Cross. Jeannine will be remembered for her caring heart and availability which made a huge impact in the lives of many who we're going thru hard times. She cherished her circle of girlfriends and they would meet often throughout the week to catch up on things and to play cards. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella and the Club Action in Hearst. Her journey among us leaves a deep imprint in hearts of all who had the chance to know her. The family would appreciate donations to the Source de Vie camp in Hearst.
