Richard Dupuis

DUPUIS, Richard - August 29, 1941 - April 9, 2019 Richard passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday after battling cancer for two years. Richard leaves Blanche, his devoted wife of fifty-three years, his son André of Ottawa and his family in Houston Texas: son Patrick, daughter-in-law Norika, and his beloved granddaughter Carenne. Richard was predeceased in 1994 by his son Martin. Richard will be remembered fondly by his brothers Michel (Marg), Greg (Debbie), Vic (Audrey) his sister Jeannine (John) his cousin Peter (Rosemary) his extended family, and by his many, many friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the entire team of professionals at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario for their expert, compassionate care. A special thank you goes to nurse Wendy Orr of Paramed. Friends will be received at the GORDON F TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, TOWNSHIP CHAPEL , 435 Davis Drive, on Wednesday April 17, from 3-6 p.m. and Thursday April 18, from 10-11 am. Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel at 11 am, followed by a reception. For those wishing, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Our sincerest condolences at this time, Blanche. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the visitation, but Rich leaves behind an abundance of fond memories of good times and lots of laughs. He will be missed and our thoughts are with you and the family.

Blanche,I am so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. So much fun, so many laughs, so many crazy stories on the ball field and golf course over the years. He was a genuinely good person. I won't be able to attend the visitation or the service but I do want to pass along my sincere condolences to you,Blanche,and you family.
