Earl William Guse

GUSE, Earl William - Of Wiarton, peacefully at Georgian Heights Health Care Centre, Owen Sound, on Sunday May 5, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband to Patricia “Pat’ Ann (nee Schmidt) for 48 years. Devoted father of Brenda Cragg, of Oshawa, Laura-Lee (Paul Morris), of Belmont, and Kevin Guse (partner Leslie Rathbone), of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Tyler and Myles Cragg, and Hayden and Kira Morris. Brother of Doreen Stroeder (Guse), and Clarence Guse (Naomi); and brother-in-law of Cathy Guse, and Marj Guse. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Bill and Minnie; brothers, Arnold (Angela), Roy, Leonard (Joan), and Ross; and brothers-in-law Ross Schmidt, and Wilford and Erma Schmidt. Friends may call for visitation at the Full Gospel Temple, Hwy. 6 South, Wiarton on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where a service to celebrate Earl’s life will be conducted on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Gideons would be appreciated and can be made through the THOMAS C. I will never forget Earl’s smile and hello at the Wiarton Adult Day Program. A caring soul who would do anything to help those in need. He will be missed by all of us at HCSS Grey Bruce. A volunteer with a heart of gold!

My deepest sympathy to you Pat and your children. Earl used to work on my father's farm at Desboro. Fond memories will keep him close.
