Gerald 'Gerrie' William Dickson

DICKSON, Gerald "Gerrie" William - 11 July 1948 - 6 June 2019 Gerrie will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Annie Dickson. Loving father of Heather Dickson (Duane Buckley) and her daughter Maggie Dickson; and Ken Dickson; and stepfather of Robert Millard and his children Julia and Kate Millard; Andrew Millard (Amanda Lusk) and his daughter Savannah Millard, and her children Liam and Ella Ducharme. Dear brother-in-law of Clara and Jim Brownlee; Ed and Carol Anne Ferguson; Dave and Sharon Ferguson; Pat and John Davies; Brian Ferguson. Predeceased by parents Betty and Bill Dickson. Gerrie retired from Dupont / Invista as an electrical engineer and was an active community volunteer. Friends will be received at Edith Rankin Memorial United Church, 4080 Bath Rd., Kingston on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Church, with a reception to follow in the church hall. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Edith Rankin Memorial United Church, in Gerrie?s memory. Cremation arrangements entrusted to GORDON F. Anne, I was sorry to hear of Gerrie’s passing. Our friendship began through our connection to the Stich & Bitch Quilting group, yet grew into a special friendship, and one that I’ll miss. Gerrie fought a courageous battle with dignity & determination. I will remember Gerrie for his sense of humour

& wit, his selflessness & kindness. My condolences to you and your family, He Will be Missed. Brian.

So sorry to learn of Gerry's passing. Jim and I and our scouting community have lost another great person. We have many fond memories of our time in Scouting with Gerry and Anne. Our deepest sympathy to all the family.
