Gail, I only recently heard that Lorne had passed away. I didn’t know that he had been a steward on 412 Squadron flights. My son in law Phil has been the lead pilot on 412 flights for quite a while.

I liked Lorne. He was a good guy.

My most sincere condolences.

Geoff

Lorne was a consummate professional and the best steward that I have had the pleasure to fly with. He had very high standards and always met them. It didn’t matter if it was Their Excellancies, the Governor General, the Prime Minister of Canada, or any one numerous VIP’s that Lorne served on his VIP flights. Lorne was always impeccable in his service. You will be missed and I am sad to not having the chance to see you one more time.

Sincere Condolences
