Dear Jan and family.
As part of the "Luscar Family", we are very sad to hear of Fred's passing. He made a tremendous contribution to Cardinal River Coals, both at the Luscar Mine and in leading the permitting of Cheviot. We will remember Fred as being dedicated to his family and community. He truly was a very nice man.
Our deepest condolences.

We were very sad to hear that Fred had passed away, as I have been friends with him since our days at Queen's in the early 70's . He was a valued counselor to me over 10 years at CRC. A really high quality engineer and mentor to many in our company.

My deepest condolences to you and your family Jan. I have fond memories of working with Fred at the mine for over 20 years. I especially remember the excellent Christmas parties our technical services group had at your house.
Take care and know you are not alone in your grief.
