LEGAULT, Yvette (née Pleau) - It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on January 8th, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Dominique and late Auréa (née Lamoureux) Pleau. Loving wife of 60 years to François Legault. Beloved mother of Marc Legault (Myrna), Alain Legault (Twyla), Chantal Legault (Serge) and Dominique Potvin (Clarence). Grandmother of Nicolas, Andrew, Renée and Gabrielle. Sister of Gilles Pleau, Thérèse Forgette (Armand), Marcel Pleau and late André Pleau. She will be sadly missed by Lorraine, Gérard, Gisèle, Paul-Émile, Johane, George, Estelle, Colette and Claude. Yvette will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Following a fulfilling career as a high school teacher, Yvette retired to her beloved home in Sheguiandah, Manitoulin Island. Yvette was a lifelong lover of books, languages and culture. She enjoyed acting, skiing, traveling and sailing in her younger years and later found happiness and contentment in the quiet life of rural Manitoulin. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME , Sudbury on Sunday, January 13th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m, as well as Monday, January 14th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. A chapel service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to a charity of your choice. Yvette's colleagues at RTO/ERO (Retired Teachers of Ontario/Les enseignants(es)retraités de l'Ontario)send their condolences.
