SALTER, Rita Violet - Passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital in the early morning hours on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 in her 97th year. Daughter of the late James and Sarah Kenny. Loving wife of the late William C. Salter. (Jan 29, 1999). Remembered always by her daughter Judy Ketcheson, Son Bill Salter, and her late daughter Marilyn El-Guebaly. Loved by her grand children Jill (Sean), Bradley, Bonnie, David, Michael, Jenny, Steven, Richard, Beth, Katherine, and Russel. Great Grand daughter Dallas Ketcheson, and great grandsons Brock and Avery Briden. Predeceased by son in law Glen Ketcheson, and grandson Scott Ketcheson. Rita Resided at Quinte Gardens Retirement Residence for the last three and a half years, the family would like to thank the staff for their amazing care as well as kind staff. The family would also like to express many thanks to Sandra, Carrie and Kym of Loving Care for their daily help and all of the little extras they gave her. In keeping with Rita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME , 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). I was very sorry to hear that Rita had passed away and we have missed her at dinner. I will never forget the tiny lady with the huge personality. Rita was truly one of a kind and will be missed by so many.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs.Salter.

We first met almost 50 years ago and her daughter Marilyn babysat for us. I knew Judy as well and we touched base again when my sister Shirley (deceased) was on the same floor at Quinte Gardens. May your mom rest in peace as I feel she wanted to be with her dear Bill...
