JOHNSON, Douglas Herbert - 1938-2019 Doug passed away after a brief illness at the North Bay Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday February 26th, in his 81st year. Born and raised in North Bay he was pre deceased by his parents Edward and Dorothy (Dolly) Johnson. He was a loving husband of 53 years to Sharon (Steele). Survived by brothers Tom (Marg) and David (Joyce). Cherished father of Chris (Lissa) and Jeff (Megan). Much loved Poppa to Tyler, Tanner, Cooper and Ryder. Doug was employed by the MTO for 37 years. He was a dedicated member / volunteer of the North Bay Granite Club where he loved to curl and teach aspiring curlers. He was an active member of the Gateway Pentecostal Church and an enthusiastic volunteer at the North Bay Heritage Train and Carousel for 15 years. Cremation has taken place, a celebration of Doug's life will be held at a later date to be determined.
