Simply put, Phil was one of the few teachers I've ever had that I will remember forever. His selfless dedication, wry humor and astute sensitivity to his students' needs will be missed. Condolences to the family.

It is with sadness that I recently learned of Phil's passing :( Phil was the kind of teacher that we all wish to meet and we are all thankful to have had the opportunity to learn from - dedicated and passionate about what he believed in. It is thanks to Phil that I was introduced to and intrigued by MDT. I will be forever grateful for his humour, his unique teaching methods and his passion for all things McKenzie! Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered by those you have touched.

Without Phils enthuiasm, humour and approachability many of us may not have been sufficiently inspired to continue through all the McKenzie courses and go on, further, further further! He is remembered with gratitude and affection.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of this wonderful man. The mention of his name will continue to bring a smile to me as I am sure to countless others. What better legacy than this. God bless you all.
Larger than life

Phil was an outstanding teacher and I will always remember his passion and dedication to teaching the McKenzie method in his own unique methods. He had a major role in my pursuit of higher levels of skill and education in MDT. Without him my career would surely not be the same. Teachers and leaders like Phil seem larger than life and their passing is certainly more of a shock. Thank you Phil, you had an extraordinary impact on the Physiotherapy world.
