REYNOLDS, Louise - March 8, 1930 - October 29, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louise Reynolds. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Louise passed away quickly and peacefully at the Langham Care Home on October 29, 2016 where she resided. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Earl Reynolds on January 10, 2005 as well as her parents Joseph and Pearl Rememda and five brothers and six sisters. Left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are her children: Larry (Sherri) Reynolds of Saskatoon, SK, Dennis (Fiorella) Reynolds of Langley, BC and Cindy (Jeremy) Clarke of Warman, SK; her eight grandchildren: Matthew (Jessica), Jordan, McKayla, Colton, Cory (Tanis), Erika, Kristopher and Chelsea and five great grandchildren: Natalie, Sean, Adrian, Cali and Zeppelin. She also leaves behind her only remaining sibling, Francis Chometsky of Prince Albert, SK, one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Louise was born in Regina, SK on March 8, 1930. She was the twelfth of thirteen children born to Joseph and Pearl Remenda. At the age of two years, she moved with her family to Nipawin. Her parents later purchased the homestead in the South Hollywood district just outside Nipawin. Louise married Earl on September 28, 1957 and they raised their family in Nipawin on an acreage where she was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed looking after an acre of garden and a half acre of strawberries and raspberries. She also enjoyed making homemade meals and baking for her family as well as going to bingos, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. After her husband's passing, Louise's health started to deteriorate and she was moved in to Pineview Lodge in Nipawin in 2009. In April of 2014, Louise was transferred to the Langham Seniors Care Home in Langham to be closer to her family. She resided there until her passing. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff who cared for Louise at Pineview Lodge in Nipawin for five years. A special thank you to the Langham Seniors Care Home "family" who filled her last years with love laughter and compassion. Louise will be remembered for her smile, sense of humour, willingness to help others and of course for her mischievous nature. The funeral service was held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coventry Funeral Chapel with Reverend Lorna King officiating. Louise was laid to rest in Mabel Hill Cemetery.
